Hi, Diane101!

I said I'd be delighted to host now and then, but can you tell us what a host does? Wears green?  Eats flies?  Croaks?  I hope not croaking. . .we'd go through hosts awfully fast!

Does it take any kind of computer skill beyond what it takes to diary or post a comment?

kansas, hosting just means to do the diary and takes no special skills, other than what posting a diary does.  so would you like to do one day of the week or be on a floating basis where if one is needed you will do it.
Once you are the host, you can wear green if you wish, but I don't know about croaking, I suppose some will croak, but I hope it is the good kind.
BTW, Cabin girl is down for Fridays
I am down for Wed.
5 days are still open....who wants to pick a day..

Thanks, Diane! Okay, I'd like to try it. I'll take Thursdays if nobody else snags them.

Will we have a "time" that officially opens every day?  And an official closing time, too?

Ok you are down for Thurs....As to opening and closing time, I would say just post in the morning, whatever is convenient for you and then you don't have to worry about closing time....it will close by itself.
Of course and stragglers might have to be 86'd.  LOL
I am watching Connected coast to coast on Msnbc and I am just furious with Monica Crowley. She is such an idiot and shut down any discussion of this "illegal war" with the statement, "that's blowing smoke, there is no truth to that and you just can't say that on air".... I wonder how much Bushco is paying her to speak untruths to people.

Gee I can't remember the man's name but he was trying to say things about downing street memo, about illegal war, how we needed to get out of Iraq because of that and because US being there was fueling the insurgency.  Another guest said no way, we are not fueling the insurgency, it's really winding down, and that guy she let speak and didn't interrupt.  she is always on the defensive about Bush and was involved somehow in his campaign I believe, she is avowed Rep.
I cannot stand anything about her, neither the way she speaks or thinks.  Makes me mad because I like Ron Reagan, and would like to hear him, but not her.  He has even gotten into it with her as he did today, but she talks more and faster and wouldn't shut her mouth..Yucks to her!!!!!!!!.

Sounds like an Anne Coulter Jr. huh? I am so sick of the right wing pundits that have no manners and can only talk over the guests when they disagree with the pundit. Shows lack of respect for others opinions. Why do they even bother to have opposing point of view guests on? So they can say fair and balanced? What a load of BS.
