When the special ops guys get involved OVER THERE, chances are that there's some kind of dope coming back in the other direction. When you're corrupt and your business is secret, the only matter is how corrupt and how secret.

Besides McCoy's book, there was THE GREAT HEROIN COUP by Danish reporter Henrik Krueger(I think that's his name) about the switch of heroin flow from Marseilles (the "French Connection") to out of the Golden Triangle during the Vietnam War, this in harmony with McCoy's book.

Actually, in BARRY AND THE BOYS Daniel Hopsicker (the Barry being Barry Seal) traces drug trading through many of the CIA ops.

The French drug trade was part of the deal with the Guerini gang in Marseilles in exchange for their muscle in destroying Communists to gain control of the docks and pushing the Reds back in French elections. Similar to post-war Italy.

Many of us know that Eugene Hasenfus's plane, the one that went down, was carrying guns to the contras and cocaine back to the U.S. At the same time shady characters like Monzer al-Kassar were dealing arms for us in the Middle East while smuggling heroin from out of the Bekaa Valley to Europe and America. Look up the INTERFOR REPORT for another explanation of Pan Am 103. "Let it go."

Al-Kassar in the late 1980s is a good model, the privatization of Southern Air Transport. Think today of Victor Bout flying weapons into Afghanistan and heroin out.

Here's a bonus question for the kids out there: When those CIA charters fly those poor souls away for rendition flights, is there a drug cash crop where they land?

So this is the rhythm in the streets. The war over there, the drugs back home. The new wave of heroin is already in the arms of our kids. Expect the violence and gunplay in our cities connected to the drug trade to rise again, scaring the middle class, pushing them to the right and into the arms of the people who smuggle in the drugs.
