Yes, SNL, thank you, humanize her for the buzz you'll get.
by liberaljournal on Fri Oct 17th, 2008 at 11:59:43 AM EST
My guess is she's appearing for a couple of reasons.  It allows her to be seen and portrayed as a fun-lovin' "every-gal" with a sense of humor.  And because our media, who are about entertainment first, will play her up mightily as the good sport.  Why, see, she's just your average Jane, poking fun at herself with such a healthy dose of self deprecation.  I believe it will help her.  Because they have flatly stated they want to do everything they can to make this election about personalities, not the issues.  And this will help them do that, if only in a very small way.

With the media's help, this will advance their cause.

"Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity"

anyone catch that Palin wants $ 15,000,000 dollars for her e-mails and those of her husband.

Straight Talk Express is charging a lot of money.

P.S. don't forget that Palin didn't listen to Tiny Fey's 1st Perfomance on SNL she turned down the volume on the TV

You only get one 15 minute period of fame. This is a chance for Palin to makeup for her loss of a beauty contest in the 80s. Palin is proof that if you keep trying you can eventually get national attention.

It's the American way.
