why is she a weak candidate?

i think she is in the lead in polls so far

although i have no idea who else they are mentioning as running or being named also.

she is kinda quiet and mousey and not such a good speaker

same as casey...he got elected

she is certainly progressive in my opinion regardless of what kos says....she is FOR gay marriage....period....thats more progressive and brave than our dear pres elect.

or the current senator from ny

as far as qualifications didnt we just go thru this with obama?  he wasnt the most qualified....people supported him for his ideas....caroline kennedy has written books and has opinions and ideas i can get behind.

and im really perplexed that anyone would compare her to palin...palin wasnt qualified to read a book caroline kennedy wrote much less be a president....kennedy isnt running for president she is running for senate.....do senators really do anything except get their agendas based on their ideas promoted in congress? they hire staff who does all the legwork.  they vote....is there any doubt she will be a progressive vote in the senate? that she would EVER vote for an anti choice scotus nominee, which we could never count on someone like casey to do. i wonder how her brother, who took what 3 tries to pass the bar, would be treated if he was the one who wanted a senate seat.

i would vote for her and i will do whatever i can to help her get elected.

she really should get a real dog though.

I really have no idea what kind of dog she has.

Her uncle Bobby had a Newf named Brumis, which only proves that he was the coolest brother.

...although I have no idea who else they are mentioning as running or being named also.

That's how the fix works.

She is a weak candidate, anna.

I didn't say that she is "wrong" in her positions.

I'm not wrong in many of my positions and I write/speak much better than she does but I would not be a very good candidate for the Senate.

Why?

No name, no resume, no sure millions coming in just because I'm there. Nor is that sort of potential upside in line behind any other potential candidate. Andrew Cuomo? A pro. A working pro. I like pros, by and large. I am a pro, ( a professional musician)  and I defy any amateur in the world to do even half as good a job as I do on a daily basis no matter what  their family connections might be. And...he is a liberal pro, the son of one of the few effective liberal politicians in the U.S. over the past 30 years or so. But the Cuomo name doesn't pull the same weight as the Kennedy name, so...you're not hearing about him.

So it goes.

Later...

AG

That's why they are trying to fix the appointment.

Goodness had nothing to do with it, dearie.-Mae West
