I'm sick to death of Clinton stories about her supporters "anger" at Obama.  She lost, fair and square.  End of story.

A conservative is a man with two perfectly good legs who, however, has never learned how to walk forward. Franklin D. Roosevelt
by Steven D on Sun Aug 24th, 2008 at 11:38:00 AM EST
I agree.

But she's sure acting like she hasn't lost yet.  Or more importantly, the Clinton surrogates surely aren't acting like it's over.

Clinton's protestations that she can't control the PUMAs are the EXACT same thing we hear from McSame on his camp's disgusting below-the-belt shots on Obama's race.

And the worst thing is when Clinton's boys do it, McSame's thugs chime right in and the Village Idiots follow.

Former New York Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani, who will deliver the keynote address at the Republican National Convention in September, contended today that by not picking Clinton, Obama's "choice was made from weakness, not strength."

"The strong choice would have been Hillary Clinton," Giuliani said on ABC's "This Week." "You almost have to go to extraordinary lengths to avoid her as the vice presidential pick of the Democratic Party."

Obama's chief strategist, David Axelrod, also on the show, responded that the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee "has a high regard for Sen. Clinton. She's going to be an important voice in this campaign, she's going to be an important voice in moving this country forward in the next administration. He felt that Sen. Biden would be the best fit for him at this time."

The Republicans' line of attack appeared to be an attempt to stoke the lingering resentments among Clinton supporters who watched their candidate fall barely short of the votes needed for the presidential nomination. Clinton and her husband have prime speaking slots at the convention here, which begins Monday. Her name will be formally placed in nomination Thursday night, when Obama is expected to be chosen.

Still, polls show that some Clinton supporters are not rallying behind Obama. In an NBC/WSJ poll last week, only 52% said they planned to vote for Obama, while 21% supported McCain.

She's hurting the Dems.  She's not putting a leash on her attack dogs.  Steven, I wholeheartedly agree that somebody needs to make it painfully clear to her that it's over and that she needs to call off the PUMAs or she's done.

Who is going to step up and tell her that with Bill in her corner?

Obama?  Biden?  Gore?  Kerry?  Who?

Until this is taken care of, we've got no chance in November.
