Maybe we should!

I woke up this morning and thoought it was Saturday for a minute, and as I was starting to fall back to sleep, I realized that, sadly, it was only Wednesday. D'oh!

The bitter cold is arriving here today.  I am so not ready for it; they're saying it might be record-breaking, and it means I might have to run out to my mom's to make sure the pipes don't freeze while she's away.

Can you believe we're finally down to less than a week until Bush goes buh-bye?

We're not going to have any records here (thank goodness, since the record is -26F) but the low today is going to be 0 (wind chill -12) and tomorrow -6 (wind chill -20). More reasonable temps arrive on Saturday.

I want the 20th to be here in the next 5 minutes.

I'm trying to imagine what it will be like in Philly on Tuesday.  On election night, people were cheering, beeping their car horns, congratulating each other in the streets...it almost felt like New Year's Eve.

CBtE is begging to stay home on Tuesday so he can watch the inauguration on teevee with us.

We have a mute button...ugh.  Maybe someone else can live-blog it so we don't turn it on until Warren is off.

I hope they have decent weather, and that this cold snap is over by then.
