"I've got no use for America": Words from Palin's old party

Looking at the AIP web site is crucial to understand the seriousness of the situation for McCain and Palin. This is a group who is mainstream in Alaska but whose views are purely confrontational and very explosive outside of the 49th state. They push sort of a reverse Rev. Wright image of America; one where conservative whites should be able to do whatever the darn well please, like seceding from the United States.

And Joe Vogler, the late founder of the AIP, had a long history of bombastic statements relating to Alaskan independence  an what he thinks of the U.S. and its government. The most shocking one is splashed proudly across the top of the "introduction" page for the party.

"I'm an Alaskan, not an American. I've got no use for America or her damned institutions."

Iran Strike Imminent - Dutch Intelligence
    ( / )
    .
    As I recently posted ...

'US to strike Iran in coming weeks'

The Dutch intelligence service, the AIVD, has called off an operation aimed at infiltrating and sabotaging Iran's weapons industry due to an assessment that a US attack on the Islamic Republic's nuclear program is imminent, according to a report in the country's De Telegraaf newspaper.

The impending air-strike on Iran was to be carried out by unmanned aircraft "within weeks," the report claimed, quoting "well placed" sources.

According to the report, information gleaned from the AIVD's operation in Iran has provided several of the targets that are to be attacked in the strike, including "parts for missiles and launching equipment."

    Georgia: Israel of the Caucasus

Israel began selling arms to Georgia seven years ago. U.S. grants facilitated these purchases. From Israel came former minister and former Tel Aviv Mayor Roni Milo, representing Elbit Systems, and his brother Shlomo, former director general of Military Industries. Israeli UAV spy drones, made by Elbit Maarahot Systems, conducted recon flights over southern Russia, as well as into nearby Iran.

UAV Eitan, also known as Heron TP

In a secret agreement between Israel and Georgia, two military airfields in southern Georgia had been earmarked for the use of Israeli fighter-bombers in the event of pre-emptive attacks against Iranian nuclear installations. This would sharply reduce the distance Israeli fighter-bombers would have to fly to hit targets in Iran. And to reach Georgian airstrips, the Israeli air force would fly over Turkey.

At Palin Church, Jews For Jesus Head Says Terrorism vs Israel Is God`s Punishment

Do terrorist attacks on Israel, as recently preached in Sarah Palin's current church, amount to divine judgment on Jews for refusing to accept Jesus as "Lord and savior" ?

Does Palin concur with Jews For Jesus head David Brickner in this belief ?

Does she think Jews carry some collective spiritual taint ?

Or, does Sarah Palin agree with Wasilla Bible Church head pastor Larry Kroon - that God will punish America for rampant immorality ?

There are many types of empirical explanations to account for the Israeli/Palestinian conflict and the best of these acknowledge both Israeli and Palestinian culpability. But David Brickner's explanation for Palestinian terrorist attacks-the explanation that was aired August 17, 2008 at the Wasilla Bible Church.

Palin's worship and politics, straight from the word of God

In the address at the Assembly of God Church here, Palin's ease in talking about the intersection of faith and public life was clear. Among other things, she encouraged the group of young church leaders to pray that "God's will" be done in bringing about the construction of a big pipeline in the state, and suggested her work as governor would be hampered "if the people of Alaska's heart isn't right with God."

IRAQ AND THE TASK FROM GOD

She also told the group that her eldest child, Track, would soon be deployed by the Army to Iraq, and that they should pray "that our national leaders are sending them out on a task that is from God, that's what we have to make sure we are praying for, that there is a plan, and that plan is God's plan."

THE MIRACLE OF CONVERTING JEWS TO CHRISTIANITY

Some Jewish groups have raised concerns since the announcement of Palin's selection to the Republican ticket that discussions in the Wasilla Bible Church might go beyond conservatism. Last month, a leader in the group Jews for Jesus, which advocates converting Jews to Christianity -- but which has been accused by some Jews of anti-Semitism -- spoke at the church. The speaker, David Brickner, spoke enthusiastically about the "miracle" of conversions in Israel by the group's missionaries.

Mark Chryson, Appellant, v. United States of America, Defendant-appellee
United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit. - 89 F.3d 844

    Submitted June 7, 1996.*Decided July 9, 1996

There was no abuse of discretion. Both the bankruptcy court and the district court correctly concluded that Chryson filed his petition in bad faith to avoid or delay the payment of federal taxes. Dismissal of a chapter 13 petition based on bad faith is permissible under 11 U.S.C. § 1307(c). See In re Eisen, 14 F.3d 469, 470-71 (9th Cir.1994).

Yeah - what weird reasoning that standing next to someone much younger would make McCain look younger. It seems to me the opposite is far more likely.

As for her looking presidential, she doesn't look it or sound it. She sounds like a midwestern housewife with serious attitude problems.

Look younger? Don't think it is working. Worse than that, she is reminding voters just how old McCain is and that Palin is just a heart beat away. She's certainly not looking presidential in any sense of the term.

She has her own small plane?  Fine, that ought to be used for personal business only, not mixed... unless she wants the people of Alaska to pay for all her travel costs!

What does the next Governor of Alaska have?

Will Alaska have to buy a new jet?  (Of, course!)

    At what cost?

Repeat:  WHAT WILL IT COST THE PEOPLE OF ALASKA TO REPLACE THE JET?????

Just like that state-owned dairy that ended up in the private hands of her crony, the state-owned plane ends up in the private hands of her crony... what else is she selling at a loss to benefit the jackals who contributed to her campaigns and hang around the back for handouts?

to make a 72 year-old man look younger.

And that's also why they chose the John Knox Pavilion in Lee Summit: a senior retirement community is crammed full of people so much older than McCain that he'll look spunky and healthy in comparison!

It will be hard to find someone whiter this side of a mortuary table, but an old folk's home is a good place to search.
