All of you who organized this wonderful event for the BooTrib deserve a standing O, and a special O for Katiebird whose original idea it was. You make me want to keep putting on hats today just so I can take them off to you! I know this took a lot of thought and work off-line. How about listing the committee members so we can appreciate them?

I (finally) added credits to this diary.

It was always in my plan, but things were moving so fast this morning, it was afternoon before I could get it in.

And believe it or not, the photographs are still coming in.

I'm so excited!

pictures at this late point?

Usually I am pretty good at this HTML stuff, but you seem like you have it down....I don't want to overburden anyone though --

If it is ok, do you want me to send all the pics in one email or separate ones?

I want something else, to get me through this, semi-charmed kinda life..

Absolutely! Send them along -- if they can fit, one diary is fine, otherwise break them up. Just make sure the subject includes your file name. I can't wait to see them.

Everything looks great! I haven't yet checked all the linked diaries, but so far they are fantastic. Toots to Katiebird & AndiF & Brother Feldspar, who are all virtual experts in HTML. Especially Katiebird, who not only came up with this idea, but worked incredibly hard to make this happen. I sure hope this is a regular feature in the future. The talent we have here is unbelievable, isn't it?
I'll be in and out today, will be checking in from time to time both today and tomorrow. My own diary will be ready tomorrow.

What an absolutely amazing job you've all done. Thank you so much for all your hard work in organizing and arranging the fair. I am so going to miss these next couple of days. I'll be looking forward to returning to see all the diaries!

An amzaing job guys. Kudos!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

And I just want to add that I really wish I could stay around in my own diaries responding and handing out the 4s. So, in lieu of 4s:

Susan and Boo, this wonderful weekend wouldn't have been possible without the way the two of you "run" this site. Run it invisibly, for the most part. There's no heavy hand that squashes creativity, and you "let" (haha, right?) any of us run with our ideas. Most people probably don't realize that neither of you had a hand in this art fair except to facilitate whenever the committee needed some help that only the site-masters could provide. Just like the Froggy Bottom Cafe, starting with Diane's original idea, this photo fair has been entirely member-driven, starting from Katiebird's original idea. That shows an amazing amount of trust and affection on everybody's part. Thank you both very very much.

Looks to me that the PhotoFair is well on its way to becoming a smashing success. My dial up connection is so slow today that it just took me over 5 minutes to load the BooTrib frontpage and over 3 to load the PhotoFair main diary. I can't even upload my pics to my hosting service. It scorches me to know that my only option for broadband is sattelite ($$$$$). :(
Oh well.
The quality of the diaries I've managed to see so far is nothing short of phenominal!

I'm so glad we made the thumbnail/link decision.  This would have been much more difficult if we were loading fullish sized photos.

Some day katiebird will write a behind-the-scenes tell-all that will fully explain that remark and rocket to the top of the best-sellers list. It's been a strenuous -- tho very rewarding -- project, so perhaps the prospect of putting on another so quickly is a bit daunting. ;-)

In the meantime, even if you only have a couple photos, send them along to the froggybottomphotofair email account, and we can still include them today. If it is only a couple, we'll add them to this thread. If it's more, we'll put them in a diary of their own for you.
