Can you believe how much this little peanut has changed? This picture was take in April 2005, four months before we arrived in China. Andrew was only 9 months old

My husband, a Kindergarten teacher, and I spent hours playing on the hotel floor with Andrew. He was so weak, that he, at 14 months old, would often flop over. He could not even pull himself up to a standing position. That didn't happen until December of last year - three months after he had been home.

Hello Grammy

Andrew slept through all the commotion at the airport, much to my mother's chagrin. He was wide awake once we got home and he gave Grammy a thorough inspection!

I love the look of pride and confidence in his eyes!

Best to your family.

If you want things to get better, be prepared to deal with change.

Turning two this summer meant getting spoiled by everyone we know.

I haven't been able to get a good picture of Andrew dancing, but here he is checking out a small drum.

At a Cider Mill

Andrew loved climbing on the wooden train at the cider mill when we went a couple of weeks ago.

Just this morning

I took this today at a Hallowe'en party. Andrew is a race car driver, minus all the tacky advertising.

Don't knock the ads. A cute kid like Andrew with his web exposure .... well, college isn't getting any cheaper.

College? I don't want to think about it. Besides, he's a super-genius and will have colleges throwing money at him.

These photos show some of the biggest changes I've ever seen in the life of one child. You two are so good for Andrew. He looks like a little boy now, not a toddler as he did not so long ago.
by Kidspeak on Sat Oct 28th, 2006 at 10:18:52 PM EST
He is stereotypical little boy, too. Dirt, trucks, and food. Ah... life is complete. Thanks for the compliment. I have to admit that I was a little unsure of myself in the beginning. Both my husband and I both agree that we must be doing something right.

All boy indeed! I'll need advice from a veteran mom of boys soon:)

OMG, an entire diary of Andrew. I took my cutemeter and threw it out the door as a safety precaution.

How wonderful.

I should have put a warning in the title. I hope the cutemeter doesn't smoke and burn your woods down!

Since it rained for two straight days that's one thing we don't have to worry about (and besides, Andrew is worth it).

Wow what a cute boy! He really has changed a lot. It's amazing looking back through pics of my kids from birth through today how much they've changed developmentally, to how much they still look the same physically. But wow, when I think that a year ago, my son wasn't even born and he's walking, babbling, destructive machine, it's amazing.

LOL! Destructive machine! That's exactly what I've got on my hands today. Too many days stuck inside, thanks to the endless rain. Good luck with your little guy.
