Saturday Night Tin-Foil Special

For a little diversion, and for the tin-foil crowd, I put together a little information I culled from my 9/11 Hijackers' Timeline (Excel). The timeline is something I did a few years ago. I basically just put in any information I found about any of the hijackers into the timeline. After the 9/11 Commission report came out I had a ton of info. I wasn't always good at putting in my sources. I was doing it for myself, and just looking for patterns.

The main pattern I found was consistent problems with the timeline for the so-called "muscle hijackers". For example, when did they first arrive in the United States and where did they live? I also discovered quite a lot more airplane training than the public knows about. Twelve of the hijackers are rumored to, or definitely did, receive flight training. Six of them had FAA pilot's licenses, and one had a mechanic's certification as well. I discovered this all through Lexis-Nexis property searches.

In any case, I found all of these facts somewhere, even if I can't remember where anymore. Creative googling will probably corroborate most of what follows. Below you will find, for each of the 19 hijackers, their aliases (to assist you in any googling), the flight training (if any), the day the government says they first arrived in this country, and all citations I could find that suggest they were here earlier.

Also note that references to the Pensacola airbase just mean that the hijackers listed that as their address on their driver's licenses. It is no guarantee that they actually trained there.

Flight 11
Mohammed Atta
Aliases: Amanulla Atta Mohammed
Pilot training: "Air Force spokesman Col. Ken McClellan said a man named Mohamed Atta had once attended the International Officer's School at Maxwell/Gunter Air Force Base in Montgomery, Ala." Date reported to enter U.S.: 6/3/2000
Activities that predate entry date: BJ's Wholesale Club, a store in Hollywood, Florida, later tells the FBI that Atta may have held a BJ's membership card since at least this time (September 1999), reportedly seen frequently at Portland Me. Library this spring (2000), Late April to mid-May (2000) Atta reportedly has a very strange meeting with Johnelle Bryant of the US Department of Agriculture.

Pilot training: graduated from Embry-Riddle School in 1997, according to Miami Herald (9/15/01)
Date reported to enter U.S.: 3/23/01, variously 4/23/01
Activities that predate entry date: Waleed Alshehri lived with Ahmed Alghamdi in Florida for seven months in 1997- Telegraph, pilot training noted above. Lexis-Nexis shows Waleed Alshehri is renting a house on Orrin Street in Vienna, Virginia in 1999.

Activities that predate entry date: At least six unconnected people later claim they recognize hijackers Satam Al Suqami and Salem Alhazmi living in San Antonio, Texas, until this month February 2001). The management of an apartment building says the two men abandoned their leases at about this time, and some apartment residents recognize them. However, all the witnesses say that Suqami was going by Alhazmi's name, and vice versa! One pilot shop employee recognizes Alhazmi as a frequent visitor to the store and interested in a 757 or 767 handbook, though he also says Alhazmi used Suqami's name.

Alrababah, a Jordanian living in Bridgeport who has been charged with providing false identification to at least 50 illegal aliens. This meeting takes place about six weeks before the FBI says Moqed and Alghamdi enter the US.

Booman - there's some great info in here. This entry is particularly stunning - I've never heard this before, and it begs a HOST of questions:

"INS documents, matched against an FBI alert given to German police, show two men named Mohamed Atta [arrive] in Miami on Jan. 10, each offering different destination addresses to INS agents, one in Nokomis, near Venice, the other at a Coral Springs condo. He was admitted, despite having overstayed his previous visa by a month. The double entry could be a paperwork error, confusion over a visa extension. It could be Atta arrived in Miami, flew to another country like the Bahamas and returned the same day. Or it could be that two men somehow cleared immigration with the same name using the same passport number."

This is so like the CIA in specific, and intelligence agencies in general. There are many who think two people were sent to Russia under a single Lee Harvey Oswald passport. And on the day James Earl Ray was arrested, he was arrested under the alias Raymond Sneyd. But in a weird twist, Raymond Sneyd, or someone using his name, had already been arrested at that airport two hours earlier. One had just arrived from Portugal, and the other had spent the night at a hotel in England. People talked about how the guy on the Portugal flight got on, escorted by guards, at the last minute. James Earl Ray was specifically seen checking out of the hotel though. Very bizarre. Very indicative of a larger intelligence operation.

Who was Mohamed Atta, really??? Very, very interesting.

Why too, was there a few at the Pensacola, NAS onboard this facade`? If they had clearance's to be there, why were they not, as one would say, safe to be there. It bothers me too that FL. in some regard is the place of much activity, so the bird flies in a hand convenient to determine the activity of all things.

And to boot, that several were using another's name. Why the confusion as to identification? What was the FBI doing here? What was their motive for saying such a thing in print?

Since some of these names were synomonous with the category of names, like smith, john etc., in their home land, presumedly Saudi Arabia. Did they use forged visa's or where passports, obtained from Connecticut.

I just addressed this with a friend this am, actually. Not the exact specifics, but as to how they knew so fast that they were the ones onboard the aircraft, and their exact identity. My friend said the stewardess onboard the aircraft were telling what seats they came from and such.

Does this all sound very convenient?

This is making for a great chore to identify what actually was happening, now that we have settled down from 9/11, somewhat, NO?

Exactly, 42. If in fact that they had common names such as Smith, John or Brown, John like here in America, then maybe we do have a dilemma on our hands. I know the FBI can screw up things badly such as the Dr. in Washington state I think it was that had his fingerprints on the bomb in Spain and accused him of doing this ghastly deed. Later to be found not the man after all. After all, we are asked to believe everything this administration has to say to us and now look at where we are in things. Secretive everything and lying on quite a lot of things, as we have found out. Exactly, 42, point taken.

This is an excellent point!

His name is Brandon Mayfield and he was an attorney. This is a brief synopsis of how he was framed and almost left to linger indefinitely in jail, Padilla style:

Spanish police uploaded recovered fingerprints to INTERPOL in a digitized format
Fingerprints are matched by a number of corresponding "points". Mayfield's fingerprints were already on file and they only matched a small number of points (with the bombing suspect).
Before Mayfield was arrested OR even interrogated, the FBI used a FISA warrant to eavesdrop on him AND enter his home on MULTIPLE occasions when the family was not there.
Mayfield was targeted because he was a converted Muslim and he had been the attorney for an individual suspected of terrorism.
Mayfield was not released until there had been a large public outcry AND the Spanish police arrested the REAL individual whose fingerprints matched (perfectly).

The FBI did its own internal review of this case and it's available online. In a nutshell, they had a "hit" on Mayfield's prints for the bombing ones and then they shoehorned and manipulated all of the evidence afterwards to make it look like Mayfield was guilty.

Not only did Mayfield's prints barely match those in Spain - he had never been to Spain AND the Spanish police's own analysis of Mayfield's prints showed they didn't match. Did the FBI care? No.

He acknowledges that he attended flight training school at Daytona Beach in the United States, and is indeed the same Waleed Al Shehri to whom the FBI has been referring.
But, he says, he left the United States in September last year, became a pilot with Saudi Arabian airlines and is currently on a further training course in Morocco.

Abdulaziz Al Omari, another of the Flight 11 hijack suspects, has also been quoted in Arab news reports.
Abdelaziz Al Omari 'lost his passport in Denver'
He says he is an engineer with Saudi Telecoms, and that he lost his passport while studying in Denver.
Another man with exactly the same name surfaced on the pages of the English-language Arab News.
The second Abdulaziz Al Omari is a pilot for Saudi Arabian Airlines, the report says.

Meanwhile, Asharq Al Awsat newspaper, a London-based Arabic daily, says it has interviewed Saeed Alghamdi.

If Al Gore had been president, do you think he and Richard Clarke would have demanded an answer in early 2001 to this question: are any Al Qaeda operatives in the US?

We now know that the CIA and FBI had evidence indicating the presence of such operatives.

Yes, Al Gore would have started by asking that question, and 9/11 would not have occurred.

I've stated this before, and the more information that comes out just reinforces this suspicion: the 9/11 attacks were Bush's Reichstag fire.

They were the first shot in Bush's and the radical religious and lunatic right's attack on our democracy. Until then Bush was (as he remains to this day) an unelected and incompetent President who only did vacationing very well. After 9/11 he could put on the facade of "leader" and cash in on the American public's first response to rally behind a President in times of conflict. Bush and his fascistas are willing to use everything for political purposes (remember 'Mission Accomplished'). For fascists, politics is theater. The movie Wag the Dog is Bush's workbook.

Just because the Clintons are showing their true "primary colors" doesn't mean we can forget the moral imperative:Impeach Bush.
