Andi, You'll have to post a photo that shows that entire huge tree in the foreground.

That's an interesting problem -- I'm not sure where I can stand that I could get the entire tree in. I'll have to check it out on today's walk.

Damn, I thought that was a close-up of an elephant.

Good idea to meet over here -- the cafe is a bit overfilled. :)

And Happy Eat-Way-Too-Much Day to you.

To you, too.
Gray, mild morning, with rain expected.  Too bad for the parade.

Just a hi and bye.  I've got to start getting ready to drive an hour and a half to my brother's house.  We're all meeting there for T'giving.

Happy Thanksgiving and I hope everyone has a great day!

You're very welcome and thanks to you for being such a fine person to hang out with -- now, if only you would just hang out with us a bit more often. :)

Morning Everyone!  Nice to see you all.  I'm not sure where I'll find you, but I'm glad I did.

Our turkey is still in the brine.  We won't start cooking until about 2:00, planning on dinner at 4:00.  Keeping all fingers crossed.  This is not my usual method of cooking.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day and Keep Safe out there.

ok so now that winter is over here in delaware i took the puppy out for a long walk...his leg is finally back to normal after 2 months of casts and therapy and he is catching up on all that puppiness he missed out on when he had to stay calm and quiet and crated....he is obsessed with tissues....every time i turn around either he has the toilet paper wound through the hallways or he has all the tissues out of whichever tissue box he can find and reach....which is pretty much all of them now...he has also discovered the toilet is full of WATER!!!!!!.....although he hates baths and rain he loves drinking out of the toilet and dripping large pools of water all over the place.....is toilet water tastier than  dog bowl water?  why do dogs prefer toilets over the expensive ceramic bottom weighted bowl engraved with their names? the puppy has also decided the cats toys from next door are way better than his toys and he has slowly stolen them and brought them all to his crate...he can get 4 at a time in his mouth so it didnt take very long.

have you ever heard a dane talk?  they literally can have a whole conversation with you if you are taking too long to get their food to them or ignoring them because you are talking to your mom on the phone. they also do not appreciate lovebird chatter and will woowooowoo without end at the lovebirds who are more than happy to scream back at them.

i treated myself to an expensive new vacuum cleaner last night and my puppy sat quietly this morning while i put the big red floor monster together.... he knows it could eat him alive so he isnt messing with it.

i cooked thanksgiving dinner for me and my friends who all have to work today in hospitals and nursing homes....my exhusband is taking me out to dinner later today to some swanky restaurant....tomorrow im having a mother daughter day with lunch and pedicures for me, the girls and their girlfriends....next weekend im going to a sex conferance with my dog/boyfriend....im getting him and the real puppy matching sweaters with their names on them...then its off to florida for a month or so.....gonna sit on the beach for a month with the puppy and see how he likes the gulf.

happy thanksgiving everyone

Happy thanksgiving, anna.  YOu have the most interesting posts, and yes, my dog was, and remains, inordinately interested in toilet paper and kleenex and paper towels.  She shreds them and leaves them all over the house.  We've been going through toilet paper like, well, I don't know....but really FAST!
