What Your Barbaric Country Has Done to Us

Read the poetry of Mohammed Ibn Laith. Here's a sample.

O God! Pardon our living and our dead, the present and the absent, the young and the old, the males and the females.

I am a Muslim I am Iraki.

Do not come to me talking of your feelings. Do not come to me asking for forgiveness. Who do you think you are?

I will not ever forgive or forget what your country has done to us. I will not ever forget or forgive what your country has done my family, my city, my country, my people.

Never.

My grandchildren’s, grandchildren, will teach their grandchildren to hate America for what she has done to us. Never ever ever will I, or they, forget or forgive what your barbaric country has done to us.

Never.

Mohammed Ibn Laith

Gorilla's Guides also has a fairly (I hope) comprehensive rundown of the last day's event in Iraq. This site is well worth bookmarking, if you think you can handle a site dedicated to "Chronicling the war against the peoples of the Middle East."

I don't know if the peoples of the Middle East will ever forgive us or forget what we have done. I do know that further dilly-dallying about ending the war in Iraq is not going to help. The progressive wing of the party has essentially caved in the face of insurmountable arithmetic. The war will go on until reality begins to chip deeper into the credibility of Congress. I guess that makes it our job to hasten the chippening.

Yeah, nothing like radicalizing a whole generation of a strategically important region of the globe...

I think that is lost too much in the US political debate over withdrawl from Iraq, it seems like there is no meaningful consultation with the Iraqi people themselves about what they want. To have your future debated in a foreign capital would be a humiliating experience for any  people.

I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own. ----- George Carlin

They overwhelmingly want us to leave...even those that are likely to be slaughtered as a result.  By all means we can consult with them.  But the RPG and IED seem to be their favorite conversation piece.

The question now is stopping it.

We must work to stop the neo-conservative cabal and their madhatter idealism.

It will be up to the Muslim world to deal with al Zawahiri and his madhatter idealism.

Our question must not be how do we earn the trust of Mohammed ibn Laith, but instead, how do we overcome the political resistance and end the criminal insanity and dread that has been spread by own national leaders?

Behold, oh Mohammed ibn Laith the price of the fanaticism of al Zawahiri, taste it if you dare.

Feel and seeth at his reflection which are the western Neo-conservatives and their equal, but from the opposite direction, fanaticism.

Feel and see the result of lies, deceptions, and ignorance.  Everyday you see the result of men whose idealism has led to murderous rampage.

Oh Mohammed, many here are trying to stop the insanity.  But, are you trying to stop it there?

It must stop.  The outrages in the very eye of God must stop.

You may seeth at me.  You may scream for my blood.  But what good will come from more killing?

For God's sake, work to stop the killing.

I mean, look at attitudes toward the United States in places like Germany, Japan and Vietnam where we did some pretty dreadful things. I don't think they hate us anymore, even in Vietnam -- but I wouldn't be surprised if they don't trust us, either.

I for one welcome our new Twitter overlords. @Omir55

I didn't know there was a progressive wing of the party.
