On a day where it's not easy to laugh, here is what I was laughing at today...

Y'know, if that were an actual joke, it'd be a lot LESS funny.

GAAAH.

Good afternoon, SN!
What a horrible day.
Thanks for the comic relief!

Haven't we all been caught in that call center hell?  For some reason my bank's machine can't recognize my voice and keeps asking me to repeat myself.  So I swear and hang up.

I find that the screaming and swearing definitely helps - on my state of mind.
And if you're lucky, there will actually be someone hearing you at the other end.

It's letting up at the moment, but more to come.
Riverdale got 9.5" - we got away with just under 7" so far.

Mrs. Dem is always good for a hearty rant after one of those episodes. She is currently engaged in battle with the local version of ma bell in trying to get a phone hooked up in my mom's room at the rehab center (broken hip, not Betty Ford).

Afternoon SN and ask.

I've been cleaning the house all day and I'm exhausted.  I'm beginning to believe living in squalor isn't such a bad thing.

It definitely has its finer points.  Did you get FMom's room cleaned up?

Yep on FMom's room.  There's still a few things to do, but it's a lot more organized than before.

How has your day been going, other than speaking to your bank computer. :)

I didn't call the bank today.  I did some shopping at Costco and kept it under $100 for a change.  There's nothing like a gallon jug of pickle relish.

I've been enjoying the windy day, though my yard will need cleaning tomorrow.

I wish we had a Costco nearby, but I think the nearest one is in B'ham.

I'm thinking of giving it a go on the yard tomorrow, but I'll have to see how I feel tomorrow.

After a hard day of cleaning I've now got to cook dinner.  Is there no end?  :)

I think I'll sleep good tonight.

Back in awhile.

Hi Indianadem.

The very good slackers know you have to put in a little bit of hard work so that you can get the quality slack time later on.

Hope you've had some time to slack lately.
