the stories that they apparently don't want to tell

Ran into 2 stories tonight...both run by the Associated Press. They are big stories and could impact public opinion on our future participation in the war.

The lead story, Iraq body counts running twice as high this year than last... which is their lead story this evening

and

Iraq fraud whistleblowers being ignored/villified

So I checked out which of the main stream media is carrying these stories...

OK - which media network has carried this story?

Story Network Carried?
Body Counts
ABC No
CBC No
CNN No
Fox No
NBC No
Fraud Whistleblowers
ABC No
CBC Yes
CNN No
Fox No
NBC Yes

I will monitor & update if the networks actually pick up either of these stories.

has any media outlets refused to carry the advertisement by Freedom Watch which reportedly was to spend some $ 15 million dollars in ad buys?

I know I saw it on CNN the other night (I am really starting to dislike CNN), and I was astonished they they are selling this war as if it were the solution to erectile dysfunction (which it may be the ED solution that GWB apparently needs).

The stories from the whistleblowers is pretty gut churning isn't it.  I'm certain it's no surprise to anyone here but reading a few of the articles and what these people are saying(and what they have gone through) laid out in black and white only proves again how gd corrupt the whole rotten system-made up by more and more corrupt people or people afraid to say anything.

I'll bet the stories of more/more Iraqi's dying since the surge won't see the light of day either..just doesn't fit in with the fairytale bushco is pushing. Not only dying but at least 600,000 more have been displaced from their homes since the surge started. Yeah the surge is one damn wonderful strategy alright.

I think it's long past time to picture bush hunkered down in the WH somewhere with a raised fist shouting he just loves the smell of napalm in the morning.
