I'm from Michigan but have been following that race.  I sure hope Al pulls it off. Last I heard he had a slight lead.

Won't it be great to hear Al hold forth on the senate floor? I can barely wait.

Absolutely.  I moved to Minnesota to vote for Al.

I've had a lifetime of taxation without representation.

Of note--Iowa's congressional delegation is presently 3-2 democratic.  While western Iowa is wingnut territory and represented by confirmed psycho, Steve King (R-IA 5), it looks entirely possible that Tom Latham (R-IA 4)--only three-quarters psycho and from a marginally democratic district--might well be replaced by democrat Becky Greenwald.

Glad to see our own Jennifer Granholm on the stage behind Obama today.

I saw that, but was at a conference out of town.  What role was she playing?

Looks like we won't know who won the Coleman-Franken race for 34 days.  And then there will be a recount.
by BooMan on Thu Nov 13th, 2008 at 11:45:01 AM EST
any news in the Franken-Coleman recount?

Good news for Franken.

glad to see he's sticking with it.  Any republican out of Washington is a good thing.

They want to crush the UAW.  I said the same thing about NCLB and the AFT and the NEA.
