Anyone want to put together a diary of just how many times Dick Cheney suggested Iraq had something to do with al-Qaeda?

The Pentagon on Wednesday canceled plans for broad public release of a study that found no pre-Iraq war link between late Iraqi President Saddam Hussein and the al Qaida terrorist network.
Rather than posting the report online and making officials available to discuss it, as had been planned, the U.S. Joint Forces Command said it would mail copies of the document to reporters — if they asked for it. The report won't be posted on the Internet.
The reversal highlighted the politically sensitive nature of its conclusions, which were first reported Monday by McClatchy.
In making their case for invading Iraq in 2002 and 2003, President Bush and his top national security aides claimed that Saddam's regime had ties to Osama bin Laden's al Qaida terrorist network.
But the study, based on more than 600,000 captured documents, including audio and video files, found that while Saddam sponsored terrorism, particularly against opponents of his regime and against Israel, there was no evidence of an al Qaida link.

I'll never know how Dick Cheney, or any of these people, live with themselves.

They count the money, money, money......in the billions. Try occupying your mind around hundred of billions; not much room for conscience or anything else.

But Booman, Cheney is so yester-years. I know I know we need some diversion.

Obama Cuts Into Clinton's Delegate Lead Among Elected Officials
In Iowa, a February Des Moines Register poll showed Obama beating McCain 53 percent to 36 percent, while McCain beat Clinton 49 percent to 40 percent.
That is one of the reasons he's won support from governors in Republican-leaning states, including Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas, Janet Napolitano of Arizona and Iowa's Chet Culver.
``It comes down to electability in red states like Iowa,'' Culver said this week.
Among pledged delegates, Obama has 1,390 to Clinton's 1,248, AP's unofficial estimate shows. A total of 2,025 delegates is needed for the nomination.
Even if Clinton scores a net gain of 10 delegates in Pennsylvania, Obama can make that up with wins in smaller states such as North Carolina and South Dakota, which vote later.

Apparently sociopathic personalities are not exclusive to serial killers. I have no doubt that Cheney sleeps just fine. These page A64 retractions are old lies to him that have already served their purposes, and that's all he sees here, no people just tools.

On the otherhand, what may be keeping the Bush family and friends awake lately is the Carlyle Group's financial arm crashing. Funny what a personal experience does to your outlook, and to think GW's failures will now touch Barbara.
