Yeah, everything is gorgeously lush around here. It took spring awhile to get here but it sure was worth the wait.

And all the rain we've been getting over the last 18 hours or so is just going to help the rain forest look even more.

We had loads of rain yesterday. Right now it's just overcast but there's a chance of rain.

We finally got our new kitchen counters yesterday (still waiting for the new faucet for the new sink). It's pretty nice not to look over there and see the old stained, chewed up butcher block top.

I'm glad to see that you have, at least, cabinet doors. We constructed our own cabinets at our last house and the doors somehow got left until the very last, after we had moved in for several years. Mrs. Dem calls the style "Brown County Finished".

The local merchants have revived the free classic car cruise-in so we'll have entertainment outside our front door every Saturday for the entire summer. We gave it to her yesterday. She enjoyed it and it sparked a lot of funny memories. A couple of my sisters took the easy way out and just wrote something like "I learned to be independent"....mine were like wiki pages, as you know. If I had known we didn't have to give detail I wouldn't have.
