Lurkers are a much higher percentage of the population than you might think. There are a lot of lurkers. Are you a lurker? That's a trick question.

Not really a lurker, but a pretty rare poster.

Are there any others of you out in the Harrisburg PA area?

Yep, that's where I am, more or less.

You must have missed the thread where I tried to sell my house! Quick commute to the Capitol! etc.

There's a DL in York, which I've always meant to get to, but it's just a little too far. We'd have to stay overnight, I think. So I've never gotten around to it.

Why don't you start one in Harrisburg? There are certainly plenty of politicals around, and plenty of bars, too. We're in New Kingstown now (had to move to get a one-story) in Silver Spring (Cumberland) but were politically active in East Pennsboro. We informally tossed around the idea of starting a DL at various Democratic meetings, but nothing ever happened. The location someone suggested was odd, somebody didn't follow through, other things were more important, etc.

I refuse to answer on the grounds that I would have to post to answer the question.  Or... I don't recall.  I have no memory of whether or not I am in fact a lurker or have ever been a lurker.
by SarahH on Thu Jul 17th, 2008 at 03:57:13 PM EST
Habitual lurker. Mostly because you and your fellow bloggers cover the subjects of your posts so thoroughly, I have nothing to add.

Appreciate you and the education you provide.

I`ve lurked up & down, and all over the tubes.
I`ve watched from afar & saw plenty of rubes.
The morans & chimps, wide stancers & pimps
& I swear that I even saw boobs.
I lurked on some sites that left me in stitches
& even on some where they didn`t even wear britches.
I once went to No Quarter, now fallen in ruin,
But I`ve never lurked at The BooMan Tribune.
