Got any predictions?

Once the nation realizes how dangerous the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean, more and more voters will drift away from McCain and head for Obama.  Experience in the jails of North Vietnam in no way qualifies a candidate for the oval office.  Since our lives may well be in the balance, I think even many Republicans will opt for Obama.  Brains and coolness may be the only things that get us through and these are not McCain's strong suits.

Fear can do wonders for your focus.

I predict Bill Clinton's speech, Joe Biden's speech, and the conflict in Georgia will all be excellent news for John McSame.

Prediction: Mitt Romney as McCain's VP. Give me longer odds and I'll bet on Lieberman. Guiliani is too long odds for me.

I'm predicting a woman VP pick for McCain, in a craven and shameless attempt to tap into disenchanted former Hillarites.

And the buzz is KB Hutchinson. but my crystal ball says the odds are against it.

He can't risk losing the white male vote. It's about all he has left.

don't write her off just yet.

my top 3 picks, in descending order are:

kay bailey hutchison: stealth candidate, serious "conservative" creds, and goes after the PUMA's. there're just stupid enough to buy it.

tied with kbh, lindsey graham: see above.

and the outlier...heh...joe LIEberman... an "in yer face demoRAT's"... pick.

that's my guess, based in part, on the RATpub's attempt to make hillary the issue during the DNC with all their pundrity and campaign ads.

McCain selects Dan Quayle as his VP running mate to get the Idaho potatoe vote!

I predict that if we don't all vote on paper ballots, our vote will be stolen. Talk to your election supervisor in your county. Make sure they have ENOUGH ballots.

I meant to say - our vote will be at risk. I don't know that it will be stolen, and I hope and pray it will not be. But that's all that's standing between us and the White House, I believe.

Obama has been approached about this and says he's planning for it. Let's hope he blackens the skies over Ohio, Florida and anywhere else necessary with lawyers.

I predict that Omir will be disappointed that the spellchecker is of no use on things like "acclimation" where the word is spelled correctly, but is not the intended word.
