MSNBC Heckler

by BooMan
Thu Aug 28th, 2008 at 06:42:59 PM EST

Some dude is absolutely ruining MSNBC's coverage by bellowing '9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB' over and over again into a bullhorn about twenty feet behind the set. I think it is probably the funniest thing I've seen in election coverage...ever.

It's exactly what those bastards deserve. I wish he'd just yell, 'DO YOU JOB', but any abuse is warranted. Pretty soon people all over the country are going to internalize his message and start believing that 9/11 was an inside job. Maybe even David Gregory.

I'm sorry I missed it. I can't stand the gasbags so I'm watching this on C-Span.

Btw...9-11 was an inside job.

The US introduces "Visa Express" program allowing any Saudi Arabian to obtain visas through their travel agent instead of appearing at a consulate in person. [US News and World Report, 12/12/01] Five hijackers use Visa Express to enter the US. [Congressional Intelligence Committee, 9/20/02]

Attorney General Ashcroft stops flying commercial airlines due to a threat assessment. [CBS, 7/26/01] He later walks out of his office rather than answer questions about this. [AP, 5/16/02,

A particularly urgent warning may have been received the night before the attacks, causing some top Pentagon brass to cancel a trip. "Why that same information was not available to the 266 people who died aboard the four hijacked commercial aircraft may become a hot topic on the Hill." [Newsweek, 9/13/01] "A group of top Pentagon officials suddenly canceled travel plans for the next morning, apparently because of security concerns." [Newsweek, 9/24/01,

Maybe the Mayor of San Fran?  I forget, but someone out west was told not to fly east that day, just in time to avoid the damage on the far coast.

David Gregory's irritation with the heckler is the high point of the convention coverage for me.  He's so annoyed he can't hide it any more...explaining to Al Sharpton that all the noise in the background is coming from a protester, and Al says "I don't begrudge him that, I'm a protester myself."

Classic.

DENVER (AP) -- Cindy McCain's half sister says she will not vote for Republican John McCain and plans to cast her ballot for his Democratic rival, Barack Obama.

"I have a different political standpoint," Kathleen Hensley Portalski said in an interview with "Us Weekly," published online Thursday. "I'm voting for Obama."

Portalski said Obama's proposals are "more positive and I'm not a big war believer."

Also classic.

I heard him, but I couldn't figure out what he was yelling. It was fun watching the pundits and hosts trying to think and speak over it. Then I got annoyed too and turned to Shear Genius rerun.

LOL! What IS the deal with bashing people who eat arugula?

My grandmother grew it and passed seeds down to us to continue to grow it.

What a useless tool he is.  Why does he even think he has any credibility?

Well if they would shut up and cover more of the convention they wouldn't have so much of a problem, now would they.

I went to CSPAN 2 nights ago..

At the risk of my blood pressure, I have been flipping between all the channels. I just had to turn CNN off promptly because they went to their Repug strategist to get his thoughts and of course he ripped into Obama as never holding a job as long as 4 years and just voting "present" in the IL legislature. I trust that they will also have a "democratic strategist" on during the Repug convention?

Turn on PBS or C-Span. Everyone watching CNN and the rest just missed two Republicans who are voting for Obama.

One named Barney Smith said he needed a president who represents Barney Smith, not Smith Barney.

I did flip to PBS. I always feel like I need to have a sense of how bad the MSM coverage is though, so I know what the majority of my fellow citizens(the ones watching at least) are seeing. Call it a sick, morbid curiosity I guess. I just usually can't stomach it for very long.

thank you ever so much!

You and the rest of the blog-o-sphere help me track the highlights, without having to submit to being overwhelmed by a bunch of video.  Even moving speeches just wear out my stamina for watching movies/tv/video.

Alex Jones having his way with the MSM is just little colored sprinkles atop the cupcake!
