How was your weekend?

We're having some nice cooler weather here too.  This is my favorite time of year...the weather is nice enough to go walking in the afternoon without melting.

I'm walking also.  Just a bit shorter than yours though.  ;-)

Do you get to go at lunch?  I used to do that when I worked in the office, and it was such a refreshing break from the fluorescent lights and my coworkers. made me feel ready to face the afternoon.  :)

Yawn about sums it up for me.  Are you tired, or bored?

I was  up in the middle of the night for a while, which keeps happening lately.  The state of the economy freaks me out.  The good news is that I'm going to be busier at work till the end of the year, so I won't have to worry about picking out that shopping cart to push my belongings around in just yet.  :)

Did I mention that I'm back to doing my 5 mile walks again, now that school has started back up? I forgot how much I missed that.

Tired -- like you, neither Jim nor I are sleeping well and I'm sure anxiety has a lot to do with it.

Great news on the walking. I just got back from mine. Pretty soon it's going to be too dark too late for me to walk in the morning on weekdays. Pooh.

It must be nice to get your walk in before the work day starts.  Some day when the kids are grown and gone...

I've been using my walk as a "lunch hour", but I don't think it's happening today.  We have house stuff happening this afternoon, an emergency visit to the orthodontist, farm pickup, and hopefully meeting up with AP and her hubby at DL tonight.

I'm sorry you're not sleeping well; I can totally understand why.  I have a few more years before retirement than both of you, and I'm still feeling panicky. ugh.

I will be slaving away today.  First up, writing an abstract for my paper so I can send it in before the office opens...

I'm looking forward to the friday flogging. I'm also looking forward to the start of my photography class Monday night - maybe I'll have some new pictures to post.  :)

There's a big crowd of tourists in town this morning. It would be a good day to stay off the streets, but I'm headed out to hear our governor candidate, Jill Long-Thompson speak. We moved mountains to get her here and I'm not missin' it.
