So, it will be another matchup of the Eagles and the Giants. This is obviously Fate's way of causing me extreme anxiety. I don't like it when the Giants lose, but I really hate it when they lose to the Eagles. It doesn't help that almost all my friends are Eagles fans. But it makes victory that much sweeter.

I'm just glad the Colts lost. Again.

another sunday on the banks of  de-nile, and as the the sun sets on dimson's catastrophically successful presidency, reality remains a foreign country. poppy, apparently off his meds , waxes poetically on the future prospects of jeb-son as senatorial, or even presidential. timber.

Ran in to the grocery store the other day to pick up the last couple ingredients I needed for dinner, and saw this...

In case you can't read the words on the box, this is apparently one of the "Planet Heroes" by Fisher Price.

Uranus "Yuri"

--Uranus tilts over so far on its axis, it rotates on its side.
--7th planet from the sun

"Planet Heroes"? I didn't see any other Planet Heroes on the shelf. Just Yuri. Poor guy...for some reason, he's the last one picked!

Yuri was only last because Pluto (nicknamed "Ploot") was recalled and stripped from the shelves. Some controversy over qualifications, I believe.

fuck the eagles.
they're a bunch of deadbeats who are stiffing the city on an $8,000,000 loan because an exhibition game got shut down.

until they pay up, I'd just as soon watch a test pattern than give the eagles one red cent.

I hope they lose, the losers.

This is turning out to be one amazing year!  And what a day...Obama arrives in D.C. AND the Eagles go on to battle the Giants.

Life is good...

The Giants are my team too, BooMan, but I think the Eagles may be the team Destiny favors as it did NY last year.  When McNabb gets hot, boy, is he accurate.  Awesome.  And, the guy can run, if he really has to.  I think it's going to be some game.

Whew. Wildcard Weekend. Since I have no dogs in this fight this year I switch allegiance from game to game based on the pettiest of reasons. For some reason the Vikings' purple uniforms annoyed me yesterday. Same reason why I rooted for Miami over Baltimore. Because he's gotten so much crap over the years after being such a good quarterback, I'm rooting a bit for McNabb, but on the other hand if he failed there was a possibility the Niners would have made a bid for him in free agency. Oh well.

Should be a close contest next week. Lots of Defense (which quarterback will keep it together best?). Just remember to breath slowly and deeply Boo, it will be OK.

We need to push for Progressive change, now more than ever.
