Deep Thought

Might I suggest to House Minority Leader Boehner that he go sit in a room filled with dry ice* for an hour and if he survives he can tell us all about how "comical" his experience with CO2 was. There's a reason we exhale, rather than inhale, the stuff, after all.

* As an alternative, he can put a plastic bag over his head and spend a few happy minutes breathing in that harmless CO2 -- before he passes out, that is from lack of O2.

you're letting him off easy.  Why not make him breath cow farts for an hour?

You're right.  I'm far too nice.  I must be a liberal.

One would think that he would be well versed about noxious gases.

The only answer I can offer is that he's a noxious gasbag who fears he'll be regulated by the EPA should the truth ever come out.

He can read Steven Johnson's book The Invention of Air and find out how long it takes for a mouse to die when in a glass jar with no additional air/O2 supplied. After all it is a popular book being read today. Not rocket science.

still too advanced for your Republican Minority Leader(s)...  Doesn't talk about God smiting that wicked, liberal rodent...
