Here's an idea for the GOP. In the future, if you are thinking of nominating someone to run on a ticket for the presidency, make sure they're not a goddamn moron.

Come on, BooMan, you are not being fair to the Republican concept of collapsing reality systems ala quantum mechanics.  This enables them, you see, to live in a fantasy world of their own imagination where economic arguments don't need any grounding in what the rest of us call everyday causality.

After all, the clown president from Texas lived in his own cartoon  world for eight years and our nation did not perish. So what if the economy is going to hell in a hand basket and global warming continues to worsen? Armageddon is coming and everything else is irrelevant, anyway.

Are you not glad that the Republican leadership has such an expertise in sub atomic physics?
