McCain and his buddies

by dataguy
Mon Oct 6th, 2008 at 11:52:44 AM EST

The McCain campaign is working on indicting Obama for his friends.  Obama, like many politicians, has friends which have gotten into trouble since meeting Obama (Rezko) and got into trouble well before meeting Obama (Ayers).  Did Obama do anything inappropriate with either?  There is no evidence of this despite 2 years of oppo research looking for this smoking gun.

What about John McCain?

The term "target-rich environment" does not do justice to McCain's problems here.  Let's review the known cases:

The Democratic Team

by dataguy
Fri Oct 3rd, 2008 at 06:39:56 PM EST

Obama has one thing standing between him and a really good showing this Nov.

Racist voters.

He is doing well in the battleground states.  Every time he debates, he will win, because he will sound like a normal person, not a black nationalist repatriation freak.  But still, there are racists out there, and the racists, otherwise known as the values blue-collar voters, are gonna be a hard nut.

How to conquer the racists?

What to ask for in trade for the bailout

by dataguy
Thu Sep 25th, 2008 at 02:30:12 PM EST

Well, it looks like they are going to cram this bailout down our throats.

We need a return.

What we ask for in return is a FUNDAMENTAL REVISION of the finance system.

The Judas goat

by dataguy
Tue Sep 16th, 2008 at 11:18:38 AM EST

In the stockyard business, you have a bunch of animals in a pen, and you need to move them into a building for slaughter.  Now, cows and sheep aren't stupid, but they are not smart either.  So, with sheep especially, you get a special animal.

You get and train a Judas goat.

What is a Judas goat?

The time is nigh: MMS

by dataguy

The time for the offense has come.  God hath delivereth our enemies into our hands, and we must smite them with a mighty smite.

The Materials Management Service staff have been having altogether too much fun.

Kaboom! Palin's Wasilla charged rape victims for their own rape kit

by dataguy
Tue Sep 9th, 2008 at 01:40:13 AM EST

Here is a story that you will want to pursue:

Here is the link: http://www.frontiersman.com/articles/2000/05/23/news.txt

Story date: May 23, 2000 - Sarah Palin at the time Mayor of Wasilla.  This is the Wasilla paper.

I'm about $500 in Obama, but I am not happy

by dataguy
Mon Sep 8th, 2008 at 10:59:21 AM EST

I have decided to make contributions to Obama. To date, I am about $500 in.  That certainly is more than some, and less than a whole bunch. However, it's not enough to have any control. Of course, getting any response is very difficult. I email them, like hundreds of thousands every day, and get nothing back which is not surprising. The feeling of powerlessness is quite discouraging.

The 'Experience' Test

by dataguy
Sat Sep 6th, 2008 at 11:47:31 AM EST

The Republicans nominated a clearly unsuitable nominee in Sarah Palin.  They continue to say that "she is more experienced than Obama or Biden".  This test is ludicrous in the extreme, and just demonstrates how desperate they are.

Palin is more experienced than McCain

by dataguy
Wed Sep 3rd, 2008 at 09:58:45 PM EST

The Gov of Ha-va-ii is now claiming that Palin has more executive experience than either Biden or Obama.  What an amazing claim.

The Gov claimed that Palin has run a budget of several million dollars.  She said that neither Obama nor Biden has ever run a multi-million dollar corporation.

This begs one important question.

Both McCains on Sunday shows

by dataguy
Sun Aug 31st, 2008 at 10:16:26 AM EST

I am listening to Fox News Sunday.  Truly, I have begun to wonder about McCain's basic mental stability.

He has said some of the most amazing things I have ever heard on this program.

Family values and Sarah Palin

by dataguy
Fri Aug 29th, 2008 at 11:01:27 AM EST

Sarah Palin appears to be the Vice Presidential nominee for the Party of Family Values, the Party of Family first, the Party of take care of your children.

This is an appalling choice, and she will withdraw within the week, I predict.

The reason is simple: This decision is a total contra-family values decision.

It's Absentee Ballot time

by dataguy
Sun Aug 24th, 2008 at 10:58:00 PM EST

The next 4 weeks are critical.  The Obama strategy is getting out the youth vote.  The youth vote is primarily, but not solely, composed of college students.

College students are at college now, and will be there on Election Day.

Thus, 25-30 million college kids must now apply for and get absentee ballots, and it needs to happen today.

Wag the dog in Georgia

by dataguy
Fri Aug 15th, 2008 at 11:50:23 AM EST

McCain is getting way out of control on Georgia.  Of course, Georgia is MADE TO ORDER for a McCain foreign policy crisis.

So, was it made to order?  Was the Georgia crisis orchestrated to help McCain?

Is this a WAG THE DOG deal?
